After I had responded to comments left in my blog, I get to see a list of spam. Spam is really something that I don’t want to have. I’ve experienced this when I still have that old blog in WordPress.com.
Unlike the spam that I’ve been receiving before, these spam comments really sound funny. I decided to get snapshots of those images days ago so that I can share them with you. I find them personally amusing. I just don’t know if you had been receiving similar messages.

Did not understand what I’ve been saying
Sukrat huh?

nice super site na pala ito. hahaha. the question is how much of your daily page views are spam?

I’ve decided to use another set of anti-spam plugins (which is mentioned on this post.
Yun nga lang, it looks like those spammy comments end up blocked – hindi man lang pumupunta sa queue. Anyway, I’ve activated Akismet back to monitor the performance.

These look like spammers attempting to get backlinks or at least click backs to their site. I wonder if any “weird” comments manage to slip through to your pages, though. I’ve seen really long ones on mine that look authentic, with video links and all, but are actually just spam pushed out by a bot.

True, they like backlinks and they are trying their chance at those blogs where the owners decided to make “dofollow” comment section.

Yes I do. Some valid comments end up in my spam queue – and I happen to find these interesting comments.

I made new changes on this site and just finished writing a post about it. I’m now using a new set of spam blocker – kasi yung dati ginagawa akong spammer ng sarili kong blog.
“Nice site” comments are really annoying. Some bloggers do that.

I like how you said this. At least we get to appreciate the difference between loving and hating spam.

I also used to get tons of these spam – like close to a hundred each day.
Luckily, I installed and tried anti-spam bee and it worked pretty good. It was able to filter spams 80% more efficient than akismet, but is not as strict as STVB or wp-spamfree.
Now i only get one but mostly zero spam. I suggest you try it.

Really? That gives me the reason to switch to antispam bee then. Or, I’m thinking of using anti-spam bee on another blog which will be converted to WordPress.
Thanks a lot!
