Yes, there is. I keep on discovering new innovative ways to earn from social networks - especially in Twitter, aside from the ones I had in this list.

Opt out? I think Twitter is like small version of blogging (microblogging). Like "regular" blogs, we could not easily opt out from reading those "obvious" sponsored reviews when we visit other people's blogs.

I believe everyone has their own "Twitter" tastes. Some people are cool so they don't mind getting sponsored Tweets. However, some people kept on sending sponsored Tweets about Magpie and nothing useful or entertaining.

Wow, I never realized that making money from twitter is also possible. I thought from the start that twitter is just one way of increasing a blog's traffic. Thanks for the info.

Before landing here, I was actually checking out Twitter and thinking of signing up. I've resisted for so long but maybe I actually will give it a try. :)

I want to point out a problem with the twitter-monetizing solutions. The reason I follow people is because I'm interested in them and/or their blogs etc. Not because of non-related twam or spitter (spam on twitter). If I see magpie messages or other massages that are clearly spam I usually tell the person sending them to stop. If they don't they might very well get unfollowed by me. I get already a very large amount of information on my twitter timeline (as I'm following lots of people) so there's not room for spam.

The real problem actually is the my inability to opt out. I don't want magpie messages and other than unfollowing users sending them I can't opt out... This seems to me a bad thing.

Note that before you join into some of these twamming-schemes that there is a real risk of loosing followers as I am certainly not the only one disliking this type of spitter.

Hey, It's OK to advertise YOU and YOUR blog and YOUR site and what YOU dig on Twitter!. That's why I follow you in the first place!.....

Cheers
