Can You Drop Entrecards in 15 minutes?

No I could not. I hope I do. But It always took me about 30 minutes to an hour to do the maximum drops Entrecard can allow to a single blog. I can just tell my way of dropping the maximum 300 limit Entrecards at a faster rate.

I have been doing the drops for more than a month. I am not able to drop every day, but I get to manage dropping 300 cards (per blog) in one sitting.

That’s one of my Entrecard statistics. It shows on the number of Entrecards drops that I am able to do each day. Whenever I do my Entrecard chores I always manage to make it to the maximum 300 drops (I only have single blog – this one – registered at Entrecard).

Interested? Here’s how I do the (almost) daily Entrecard drops:

Install and Configure ImgLikeOpera

I had to install ImgLikeOpera or ImgLikeOpera Reloaded add-on which can be downloaded from Mozilla add-ons site.

I have to set the options or settings of this add-on. Under “Cache, misc” select “Don’t load images” for the “default policy for new window/tab”.

Go to “Filters”, add the following to the filter list by filling out the “filter” and choosing the corresponding “filter policy”:

http://entrecard.com, policy 1
http://entrecard.s3.amazonaws.com, policy 1

Once that ImgLikeOpera is enabled and set to “don’t load images”, I am ready to drop while it’s hot!

Dropping Using the Inbox Drops

The fastest way to open browser windows is to hold down the CTRL key then left-click each Entrecard in my Inbox list. I usually open two rows of Entrecards and wait for the sites to load. Since ImgLikeOpera prevents loading up of images, each sites loads up fast. Sites look uninteresting, but at least each site’s Entrecard is now easier to find. UPDATE: I give utmost priority to the 50 top droppers of the list, then followed by those who drop in the yesterday’s Inbox. The remaining ECs goes to SOME favorite blogs and to new blog sites.

Then I get to drop all the cards until I’m finished. I bookmark sites where I’d plan to advertise, visit and comment along the way. After I’m done with the drops, I revisit these bookmarked sites. But this time, I disable the ImgLikeOpera add-on so that I can see the beauty of each site.

Oh! Before you go be sure to turn off ImgLikeOpera add-on after making the EC drops. In my end my Firefox does not work well with the add-on enabled.

Whoa, I can drop like 100 entrecards in 45 mins. I slow down to read the top most post title only.

hay it takes me 2-3 hours for 3oo dropped. kailangan ko kayang isa isahin. hehehe.. hindi kasio ako marunong sa mabilisan eh

i started with 30 drops maybe in my 1st week, and in return i had 8 drops on me . i only had so few in the first week because i read the blogs thoroughly, then, i would leave comment. then, i found out it is so much to do, i got headache . then, i progressed to 100 drops in the second week since i would do a chain like dropping. i open one site, i drop, then from his entrecard widget i would open another site. then, i found out i am not consistent with my drops, it seemed everyday i see different widgets in my inbox, and am still getting very low percentage of return. then, on my 3rd week (im in 3rd week now), i finally learned to drop from my inbox, that’s the time i started to see more consistency also in my droppers. but am not getting the 300, i haven’t reached even the 200, since there are just so many pages which loads very slow. and thanks to this post, i’ll study that too, how to load up without images so that the drop would be faster. and then, i will just revisit my favorite blogs with their images in it.

I really do not think about doing the drop just for dropping’s sake. I just drop EC when I visit a blog and read some of the posts. I know that the more one drops ec’s the better would one’s traffic becomes. But I have many things to do so I always procrastinate about doing a whole hour or so to just make it to the 300 allowed drops per day. But someday, I’ll try to devote a whole hour just to drop ec’s

Came by to drop my card, but couldn’t find yours. Maybe it’s my PC which is loading slow- I don’t know. Anyway, very nice blog.

Hi Gem

I only have one blog and also being consistent dropping entrecard to its maximum limit of 300 per day. But I only drop every Mondays to Fridays..I don’t open my computer during the weekends, coz that’s when I take a break..

nice nice. yun pala yung exception na hinahanap ko. there’s already a built in image exception list sa FF3. so when youre in EC dropping mode you can simply uncheck load images automatically.

I’m using Opera Browser (version 6.92), what should I do with the preferences so the images from entrecard still appear ?

I’m not using Opera Browser, so I can’t help you that much. One thing I’m sure, it is just always on the settings side of your browser.

Hello i manage to do 300 drops in 20 minutes, this depends on your connection and strategy. Faster connection means faster loading. You need a computer which has a high ram that can open 100 tabs in your browser. That’s all the secret.
