hi Gem,
would u pls tell me about the documents needed 4 verification of payoneer debit card and other verification procedure. whether my odesk user-id and payoneer account name should be the same? I think, sending a card from US needs lot of courier or transporting charge. So how can I get it without any money in my odesk account.

I know u r too busy, but I humbly request u to help me out once and for all, please.

Can I ask? i have this limexchange payoneer card, i already activate this 1 year ago. The problem is Im n0t using this since the day it was send to me,because I already gave up bidding in limexchange. Now I want to used this for pers0nal use, since the expirati0n date will be on 12/10 pa naman, so how can I reload this here in the philippines? And what bank? Its not working in bpi atm machine. How will I know that this is still working and n0t yet expired? I want to load this,because I want to get this verified with paypal instead of magpa sign up pa aq sa eon uni0n bank.. Is that possible? Pls. I need some advice fr0m you thanks.

Thanks for the reply Mich. I have decided to deactivate my payoneer account. After successfully verifying my Smart Money account with PayPal, I linked PayPal with my oDesk account. All I need now is to get hired.

Hey alwin! I’m not hired yet on oDesk either but my oDesk Payoneer MasterCard is already with me now. I received the card’s approval after 6 days of confirming it. Then I received it more than 6 days after. Mister post man brought it at our gate, literally. Only I wasn’t the one who received but it arrived earlier than I expected. Then after a week I activated it on Payoneer website, no charges whatsoever. Now I’m looking forward to verifying my PayPal account with this card but the process will include some charges. I guess that’s where the spending will start. Yeah the activation fee also confuses me and it’s scary.

Came across your site through the oDesk forum. I’m a newbie and had the chance to be interviewed once. Unfortunately I never got contacted again, but I’m seeing that the post is still open. Sorry, off topic.

Anyway, like the others, I have been waiting for my oDesk card. Just recently, payoneer has been sending me an automated message noting that my card has not yet been activated. I have several questions on the debit card.

First, when you received the card, did you have to go to the central post office to claim it? or was it handed to you by the postman in an envelope? Last week, I received a slip from the postman with a note to proceed to a particular window# at the QC Central Post Office. I have a feeling that’s my oDesk card already. But I was expecting that the card will be delivered to me in person. Going to the central post office is a hassle.

Second, am I really expected to activate the card immediately? From my understanding, the account should be funded because there’s an activation fee. I don’t have a job from oDesk yet, so I can’t have it funded. Will I still be able to activate my card months later? Or will be required to apply for a new card if I don’t activate the soon to be received card?

I guess that’s about it for now. I’m all confused with all these. Thanks in advance!
