Help Yourself Choose the Best Web Host in Town
Not long ago I had been some sort of shopping spree. Not for the clothes that women like me would have. I was simply looking for the best web host that I could get for one of my blogs. Instead of hopping from one web host site to another I simply looked for web hosting sites that provide ratings for the different web hosts around the web.
Ratings by Category
Web Hosting Rating had performed well to my expectations. One very useful thing that I’ve noticed is that I can get the top ten best web hosts at a glance, or choose to see the best web hosts in every category. Every web hosts are made to be different which answers to the differing customer need. Do you want the best dedicated web hosting providers? Then look for the list under dedicated hosting. How about a Unix web host? Web Hosting Rating provides a good top ten list.
Get the Best

Web Hosting Rating also maintains a web hosting awards system where one can find web hosts in every category. The Hosting Awards 2008 features a particular web host that is suited best in each type. The cheapest web host is indicated by the Best Budget Hosting, while the Best Blog Hosting indicates the host that works well with blogs.
The Web Hosting Rating’s directory should lead you to more hosting providers, if you want more options to choose from. Each web host has its own detailed description and review as well.
Manage Your Site Well with Some Useful Tutorials
Web Hosting Rating offers more than helping customers choose the right web host: their articles section is a huge compilation useful web host tutorials. Are you finally moving your site to a dedicated server? Learn from Managed Dedicated Hosting and see if you really need it for your website.

If ever I would decide to get web hosting ( I can see my self doing it in the near future) I’d probably choose Bluehost. I always see their name in almost every list of “good webhosts”. They are probably good. But of course when the time comes, I will be studying each prospect before I let my money out of my pocket

Hello Pastilan! Bluehost is indeed one of the top list of hosts – for blogging – especially if you like to use the WordPress platform.

I love my hosting, Lunarpages. Have been with them for years on multiple accounts. The best tech support and plan ever

@Pastilan
There are also some Filipino-based hosts that are cheaper. I don’t know with the tech support. One is ploghost. They charge in pesos.
Or you can consider buying a domain first instead of having a self-hosted package.
@Michael Aulia
Nice you to drop by. I’ve also heard a bit about Lunarpages and they offer competitive deals which are comparable to Bluehost’s plans.

Wow looks like there’s some good discussion in here. I got three hosting accounts, one of which is BLuehost. I am also an affiliate. If uwant guys to get a hosting account – I have my standing offer, which is sharing the affiliate commission. I can give a 30USD rebate for Bluehost, and 45USD rebate for iPower.
Hehe, @Gem, sorry for the plugging.

@Bloggista
I don’t mind. But I don’t think I’m ready to switch platforms right now. I’ll see if others are interested. Thanks!
