Yeah… that is my prob now because I want to do a small theme shop as a sideline and my paypal is not verified. Plus I have a client who retired from her work in London and wrote 3 novels. She receives pension through Allied bank but has no credit card. Looking at her lifestyle, she doesn’t even need a credit card so I was wondering from our discussion a while ago if debit cards were accepted by Paypal just so she could transfer funds.

I hope there are more ATM/debit cards that Paypal could accept for just the simple step of verifying it. People had been getting money out from Paypal for so many years and banks aren’t that fast enough to cope up with this demand.

Thanks for this. I just recently opened a paypal account, so now problems yet with limits. (Zero balance. lol.) But this will be useful for in the future.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a friend who signed up for a PayPal account and is still awaiting for verification. He asked me if I knew anything about VCC and if they were reliable or not. Never did get to answer him back since I did not have any experience at all with this kind of CC. Guess now I can just point him to your post:) Good one, thanks

Yes, I guess it’s best to use real cards.
I have a mastercard and an unverified paypal account. About twice, I have tried to verify my card and Paypal said I was charged but saw nothing on my latest statement. That is my only issue with my bank (not really Paypal) right now.
