Hello Gem,

Thanks a lot for posting such useful blog like this. By the way I am homebased webdesigner and I have my payment on projects on my Paypal to my Metrobank account. From the time I withdraw my money on paypal it takes 3-4 days for me to wait which I thought is not bad at all. But reading this blog really make me glad, just wanted to ask some few questions:

1. Did I read it right, smartmoney will transfer your money immediately from the time you transfered it to your EON account?
2. How much did you pay for smartmoney card?
3. In my case Metrobank gets around php150.00 per transfer regardless how big or small is the amount, how about in smartmoney? Is it more cheaper or at least the same or depends on the amount?

Thanks a lot. looking forward for your reply. great blog you have!

True, email isn't reliable so I prefer calling them directly. It's just a good thing that there are many bloggers out there who had shared their experience in transferring funds to Unionbank.
.-= Gem´s last blog ..<a href="http://www.theladyprogrammer.com/glass-frog/" rel="nofollow">A Glass Frog Discovered in an Ecuador Expedition</a> =-.

Hi Motz,

Not sure though, I think you have to ask Smart Hotline for their updated list of numbers that can support Smart Money.

BEWARE of UNION BANK!

The 24 hour customer service is non existent! You send an email and you get a response after 2 months if ever you get one.

I have been using eon for a year. It works but if you have a problem you are on your own. Now we have other options for paypal such as offline banks.

This probably explains why this thread is so long. Customers are looking for support somewhere else. hehehe.

Just my 2cents
