UPDATE: Some people saw this opportunity appear on their accounts and missed it. Visit IZEA Boards.
What would you feel if you have missed out a big opportunity?
I got into my PayPerPost account a few hours ago. I got only one opportunity, but that lone opportunity is worth one big $100 for a few 50-word review.
In PayPerPost or PPP, a grayed-out opportunity below the Opportunity Title means that some other blogger had the chance to write a review or buzz about the given topic on his blog and get paid for the given offer from the advertiser. A blogger gets to write about a topic when the opportunity is in white or green.
The opportunity requirements are not too demanding. The advertiser simply wanted to take advantage of that blogger’s blog traffic. I’ve know a lot of blogs that has reached good Alexa rankings without having any page rank at all. A $100 payout that is up for grabs in any blog that do not have any Google page rank is VERY UNUSUAL.

Haaay, I sometimes get frustrated with PayPerPost. Kasi kelangan unahan pa kayo sa opportunities.
Sayang talaga yung nakita mong opp. A $100! I’ve never encountered that much payout for a paid post.

What’s PayPerPost? I must check out now. Worth using? You can send me an email on if you think it’s useful.

@MJ
That’s not really something that we see everyday. Especially when we realize that we are qualified for that (but the opportunity is reserved).
@MikeC
I’m plan on putting up a separate post to explain how PPP works.

sayang nga yun $100 too bad for me tinanggal na yung blog ko sa PPP whew! I need to set-up a new one for it.
September 15, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Oh that sucks. I hate when that happens. In the short time I’ve been a part of PPP I have several opportunities vanish before I had the chance to get them. Sometimes I wonder how people can camp that site like that. Maybe that opportunity will show back up in a day or two.

@rhyan and ImitationAngel and iceah
Agreed! Sayang! That really sucks! I hope that it will come back. Somebody was really lucky!

So true. I just got approved in ppp and ever time I check. opps available for me are always already in gray. I have to learn when to check in…
September 16, 2008 at 8:36 am
@Gin
Opps are ALMOST always grayed out in PPP. But a big-paying opportunity like this is not something that I want to really have.
September 16, 2008 at 9:52 am
wow, i did not know that you can earn as much per post in PPP, i actually have heard of PPP from a friend, but I have never tried it yet.
September 16, 2008 at 10:31 am
The only amount I earned from PPP is $29 and that was two months ago
I was never able to get hold of another opp from them again, it seems that there are too many members who are there waiting for the chance to have a bite at the opp
anyway, I still hope that in the future I’d have a good day and catch an opp
September 16, 2008 at 10:51 am
@betchai
Yes it is possible. Been with them for several months.
@Pastilan
Timing lang yan!
September 16, 2008 at 11:09 am
wow. that’s a huge amount. but even if they offer is less, that site still seems like a pretty good opportunity. :O
thanks for the screencaps. very informative.
September 16, 2008 at 11:49 am
@kouji
If the offer is a lot smaller I would not write a new blog post about that. The amount is not something that I don’t get to see everyday.
September 16, 2008 at 1:09 pm
grrrrrrrrrr kainis! just seeing this post of yours, nanghihinayang ako for you!!!
nakakaloka nga and sometimes even you are eating or walking or taking your bath, maiisip mo na sayang! ako 20 USD lang nanghihinayang ako kapag namiss out ko, 100 USD pa!
September 16, 2008 at 7:30 pm
Aw, I got scared about your comment rules. hehe. But before you spam my comment (LOL), your post reminded me of my PPP account. I haven’t checked on it for 5 months now.
I realized months ago Im gonna building up my PR. I still do occasional paid reviews, but mostly they are from private advertisers, although the opps are not that many, the pay is relatively higher. I think its what the PR contributes.
September 17, 2008 at 12:59 pm
@Berryblitz
kakahinayang nga. even a $20 offer is huge already.
@bloggista
It seems like the one’s that you’re getting from private advertisers are better (and you work less).
Sorry I was supposed to rewrite that comment rules, I agree that sounded harsh.

I feel for you because I missed a $75 job too just the other week… I said french words couple of times and hubby asked me what was wrong lol.. With me, I saw it white but then when i click to reserve it the page went so slow so I lost it hahaha.. KAINIS as in!

September 18, 2008 at 8:39 am
wow… i never saw $100 appear grey on my opps. hey i always visit your site and find your posts helpful. would you like to exchange links? would appreciate it.
September 18, 2008 at 12:52 pm
Wow! Ate thanks for sharing this post.
grabe di ko alam may ganyan palang opp sa ppp na $100 for 50 words lang waah!! gulat ako huh.
actually last year pa ako ppp member but then hindi ako nakakakuha agad ng opps kasi nga laging gray haiz. pero nitong September naging active ulit ako haha. biruin mo may “Will Be Paid: $169.65″ ako since naging active ako nitong September. My online friend encourage me kasi to check the ppp everyday kasi for 3 months kasi naka $1,200 na siya bale $400 a month, kaso ayun tinanggal na siya ngayon sa ppp nakasama siya dun sa blog audit na ginawa ng ppp, kaya nagstopped na siya dun.
Ngayon nga kinakarir ko na eh hehee, excited na ko mareceive ung payment although next month pa nila ako babayaran.
Thanks Ate, i hope makita ko yang opp na yan.. although i have PR2 palang. aihihih
