Gooey Duck Resources
Interested in “gooey duckâ€? Gooey Duck is actually spelled as geoduck, and “gooey duck†is more of a pronounciation of the geoduck. This is named to a particular group of huge saltwater clam found in the Pacific Northwest that is commonly found along the coast of US and Canada. The term seemed to have come from an American native word which means “to dig deepâ€.
Geoducks are actually cultured for their meat. Some groups of people believe that these giant clams are very good aphrodisiacs. These clams have longer life spans than human beings – in fact, the longest in the animal kingdom.
