I spent most of my days setting up and tweaking WordPress blogs while doing part-time blogging on the side. Freelance web design and blogging earnings are my main means of income.

oDesk is where I get most of my earnings as a full time freelancer. This is the very first site where I earned income that’s seriously enough to quit a day job in the Philippines – if you have all the right skills. I sell my services generally as a web developer but I specialize in WordPress blogs – installation, theme customizations (premium and free WordPress themes) and various bug fixes.

Sponsored Reviews was also another good money maker. This site is a lot like PayPerPost – I get to put down anchor text and write down a post that conforms to the number of words required by the advertiser. This site lists down opportunities for bloggers to bid on and the advertiser handpicks the blogs where he wants the opportunity posted.


A good Google PR, link popularity, Technorati and Alexa ranking are needed to attract the attention of advertisers. I had earned over $100 from them when I still have my PR4 blog that has very very little traffic (Alexa rank was over 1M).
