Do you want to find out whether a phone call is legitimate or scam?
I’ve spoken previously about sites that work with a community’s participation, and I think this is another important one. Caller Identifier is a helpful way of looking up clues behind a caller’s identity by simply entering a number to look up at other people’s opinions about that given number.
It is possible that a number is not listed yet, so if you feel that you want to warn others about a disturbing call then Caller Identifier is a good way to inform and warn others.

Even more useful if we have users who can report cellphone “spammers”. I’ve also received some spam in my cellphone.
We have more users getting internet access. I think it is useful to have a site that can report offending cellphone numbers too.

I get a ton of these calls all the time, and I use this site, as well as many others, to track these numbers down. I actually got a call from Costa Rica, or so it said, the other day, and I don’t know anyone there; wild.
